Installer woes ... and a work around

I needed to reinstall JBrute recently and got this very unhelpful error message when I tried to run "jbrute.msi"

"This advertised application will not be installed because it might be
unsafe. Contact your administrator to change the installation user
interface option of the package to basic"

I'm at a loss to explain why after years of installing and uninstalling JBrute, this suddenly pops up.  In any case, the work around for me was to open an Administator command shell ("cmd") and run "msiexec" (which is what the .msi file will invoke) directly passing the "/qb" switch.  It take a few minutes but it works just fine:

     c:\>msiexec /qb /i C:\Users\mrosen\Downloads\JBrute.msi
